Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions govern the use of Valoura Blinds' website and services. By accessing our site, requesting a quote, or purchasing our products, you agree to be bound by these terms in full. Please read them carefully before proceeding with any order.

1. Acceptance of Quotes

Several means of accepting the quote provided by Valoura Blinds Pty Ltd, includes signing the actual quote or responding to the emails or text messages correspondence between the company. Acceptance of the quote acknowledges and accepts the terms and conditions on this document.

2. Deposits

Upon acceptance of the quote provided, Valoura Blinds Pty Ltd requires a 50% deposit to secure a binding contract entered between the proposed client and the company.

3. Quote Validity

All quotations prepared and provided by Valoura Blinds Pty Ltd are valid for 14 days from the Quote Date stated or otherwise specified on the Validity Date. After the validity of the quote, it can be subject to change.

4. Order Details

All relevant details on the order must be confirmed during the final measurement conducted by the installer of Valoura Blinds Pty Ltd. Client’s presence is necessary on the final measurement as any changes afterward might incur product surcharges to the client.

5. Completion Dates

Estimated Completion Date provided on the invoice sent by Valoura Blinds Pty Ltd is an estimated date dependent on the product types selected and may change depending on material availability and shipment delays. Compensation will not be an option for any delays incurred.

6. Site Availability

Valoura Blinds Pty Ltd availability to carry out works will be from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday to Friday unless otherwise is specified and agreed prior to the acceptance of the contract. The client is responsible for ensuring a suitable and appropriate access is available for the installer to complete the installation of the products on site. Any obstructions or unforeseen difficulty that needs to be overcome by the installer will incur additional cost to the client.

7. Product Disposals

The client must notify Valoura Blinds Pty Ltd of any installation - related concerns or damages within 24 hours of installation completion. Valoura Blinds Pty Ltd will take responsibility for rectifying verified issues, provided sufficient evidence is supplied within this timeframe.

8. Product Recommendations

Product Specialists employed by Valoura Blinds Pty Ltd are there to provide recommendations, but all final decisions regarding products and material selections are the sole responsibility of the client.

9. Post Installation Claims

The client must notify Valoura Blinds Pty Ltd of any installation - related concerns or damages within 24 hours of installation completion. Valoura Blinds Pty Ltd will take responsibility for rectifying verified issues, provided sufficient evidence is supplied within this timeframe.

10. Payments

Valoura Blinds Pty Ltd requires full payment upon completion of the order accepted. Partial payment is applicable if the client requires partial installation of the listed products. If the client is not ready for the installation when all the products are all ready for installation and the date is 4 weeks past the Estimated Date provided, the client is required to make full payment while delaying the installation date.

11. Outstanding Balances

All products installed at the client’s property remains under the property of Valoura Blinds Pty Ltd until the final payment has been made. On the event that the client fails to comply on the payment requirements, Valoura Blinds Pty Ltd can choose to send the case to a debt collector where the client is solely accountable for any administrative or legal costs that will be imposed on the recovery of the outstanding payment. Alternatively, Valoura Blinds Pty Ltd has the legal right to enter the client’s property to uninstall and reclaim all products installed, but will not be liable for any damages or losses in the process of reclaiming the products.

12. Warranty Coverage

Valoura Blinds Pty Ltd offers varying warranty periods depending on the products, which will be discuss at point of sale. The warranty period commences from the date of installation completion. Products covered under warranty are guaranteed to perform under normal use and conditions. Any misuse, improper handling, unauthorised alterations or tampering with the products - including work carried about by third parties, will void warranty.

13. Warranty Claims

All products supplied and installed are guaranteed to be free from fault and defects. Valoura Blinds Pty Ltd takes responsibility in processing warranty claims with the suppliers for any material defects such as colour variations, puckering, fraying and any other similar material damages. It is under the discretion of Valoura Blinds Pty Ltd to either repair or replace any faulty product. However, Valoura Blinds Pty Ltd will not be liable for any sustained loss from the client due to such occurrences.

14. Service Fees

The warranty period of the products cover any product repairs or parts replacements, whichever is suitable, at no additional cost. However, Valoura Blinds Pty Ltd covers only 1 year service warranty from the day of the completion of the installation. If the client’s products requires a service beyond the service warranty date, Valoura Blinds Pty Ltd will be charging a flat rate $99.00 service fee to attend the service on site and access what is required to complete the warranty claims.

15. Refunds

As all the products sold and supplied are custom made to measure and fit specifically to the client’s property, Valoura Blinds Pty Ltd will not offer any refunds, but will be more than willing to ensure the client’s satisfaction. Refund will only be an option if the final measurement on site has not been completed and no product has been ordered. If the final measurement has been completed and sufficient notice has been given by the client to stop production of the products, the refund will incur a 20% of the full order amount as a cancellation fee. However, if the production of the products has started, refund will no longer be an option.
